Welcome to Mrs. Schloff's Home Page!

     I am a fourth grade teacher who has been teaching at McAlear for 11 years.  I love this grade because the children are very independent and can do almost anything you ask them.

     If you are wondering about me, I will tell you.  I taught school for 7 years until I had children.  I then retired never thinking I would teach again.  I stayed home and raised my two boys, all the time doing volunteer work for the Bay City Schools.  This eventually led to my going back to teaching.

     I have a wonderful family.  My husband is self-employed, my children have careers, and the best thing is that I am a grandmother of Lola, age 2 1/2, and Bo, age 1 1/2.  I had no idea that being a grandmother would be as special as it is.  I also have Gerty, a black lab, who I love to come home to every day.

     I thoroughly enjoy teaching at McAlear, the aprents and children are very caring people.
