Welcome to Mr. Hartz's Home Page!

This is my 13th year of teaching and 5th year here at McAlear-Sawden.  I have been lucky enough to spend 11 of my years teaching 5th grade.

I am married (Rachel) with a daughter (Kate) and two dogs (Brennan and Lucy).

We recently finished another exciting and successful year.  This leaves me looking forward to the fun of the 10/11 school year.  I look forward to meeting all of my new students and their families.  Please check out the Send off Video below to get a good idea of what's to come.
