About me: I have been teaching kindergarten at McAlear-Sawden for the past 3 years. Prior to McAlear, I have taught : kindergarten, first, fifth, seventh, and eighth grades. I enjoy every minute of teaching and love watching the children grow both academically and socially. It brightens my day to see wonderful smiling faces each and everyday!
The kindergarten staff along with Pam Stahl and Mike Connors developed an intervention piece called Smart KIDS (Kindergarten Intervention Develops Success). We are grouping children according to ability for part of our English/Language Arts instructional block. During this block, we will be focusing on individual needs.
McAlear's staff, parent involvement, and students make coming to work easy!
