Mrs. Seal recently used the lab for her art lessons. Students really enjoyed these lessons and can access them from here.
McAlear-Sawden Media Center
Thank You to our Friends and Families who have supported literacy here at McAlear-Sawden. Library volunteers arranged for McAlear-Sawden to hold two book fairs during the 2011-2012 school year. We had record sales during our Fall Book Fair. Some of those profits were used to bring in local author, Paleo Joe. He inspired all students to read and explore the sciences for fun and discovery. Volunteers helped us process nearly $1000 in new books for our collection. Portions of our winter profits were used to purchase a classroom set of Scholastic First Dictionaries, easy nonfiction books on animals for future animal reports, students headphones for our lab and new speakers. Our students have outstanding equipment and book choices thanks to the families who shopped at our book fairs. Thank you for your support.

Please make every effort to locate lost books, or send in the replacement cost. Students who have lost books will be bringing letters home before May 23rd.
